How do I book a session?

Booking is simple! Choose your session type and select a date and time that works for you. Once you've made your selection, you'll sign the contract and pay the non-refundable retainer to secure your session spot. The retainer is applied toward your total session fee.

Do I need to pay a retainer?

Yes! The non-refundable retainer secures your session date and time. It counts toward your total session fee and ensure your spot is reserved.

What payment methods do you accept?

Full payment for your session is due 48 hours before your session date, unless a payment plan has been arranged.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! Gift cards are available for all session types - Family, Senior, and Childhood Legacy sessions. You can request a Gift Certificate here for the perfect meaningful gift.

Can I apply a gift certificate toward a session?

Absolutely. Gift certificate balances can be applied to any session you choose.

What if a gift certificate doesn't cover the full cost of a session?

No problem! The remaining balance can be paid at the time of booking. Gift cards can be combined with other payment methods or applied toward optional session enhancements.

Booking & Retainer

What happens before a session?

Once you sign your contract and pay your retainer, you'll receive an email with next steps and your remaining balance. After that, you'll receive a session questionnaire to help me understand your vision. If you opt in for a complimentary consultation, we'll plan that before your session date as well. Finally, 48 hours before your session, you'll receive a Session Tips email with an outline of how your session will flow.

What happens during a session?

The goal is simple: you relax and have fun, and I make sure your personality shines through in every final image. Don't worry about posing - I'll guide you the entire time.

How long will my session last?

Session length depends on the type you select:

  • Mini Memory & Growing Legacy: 30 minutes
  • Family Essentials: 75 minutes
  • Grad Essentials: 150 minutes
  • Legacy Heirloom: 180 minutes
How many images will I receive?

The number of final images depends on your session type. After editing, you'll receive a proofing gallery where you can select your included images. You'll also have the option to purchase additional images or upgrade to receive the entire gallery.

Can I request specific poses or shots?

Absolutely! Feel free to bring inspiration or ideas. We'll chat through your preferences during the consultation or gain insight through your session questionnaire, and I'll incorporate them while keeping the session natural and relaxed.

How are images delivered?

All images are delivered through a secure online gallery. From there, you can:


  • Download your digital images
  • Select your included images
  • Place orders for prints and products

Session Flow

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Our contract requires at least 48 hours' notice for rescheduling or cancellation. This allows time for preparation and ensures your session spot is respected.

  • If you give at least 48 hours' notice, we can reschedule your session without penalty.
  • If you reschedule but we're unable to accommodate your new date, it may be considered a cancellation.
  • Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours' notice are not eligible for a refund of the retainer or any fees already paid.

This policy ensure fairness for both you and the time I've reserved for your session.

What is the weather doesn't cooperate?

Sessions are subject to weather conditions. If bad weather occurs, we'll work together to find the next available date that works for you. Your retainer will be applied to the rescheduled session.

What if I arrive late to my session?

If you arrive late, the session time may be shortened by the amount of time you are late. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a refund or other compensation for the time lost due to late arrival, so please plan to arrive on time to make the most of your session.
